Mutilation can be metamorphosis too.
In the wake of heartbreak, Max discovers a hunger she cannot name.

From Concept to Completion
When we finished the first draft of Teething, I knew two things: it had to be unsettling, and it had to be beautiful. While my storyboards may not be the most eye-catching, they served only as reminders of my visualizations.

Color as Subtext
The visual language of Teething consists of a slow descent from cooler to warmer tones. As the color shifts, so does Max's emotional state from sadness to desire. The more Max's hunger grows, the warmer the frame becomes.
